Details:
The efficacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) for a wide variety of psychological problems—particularly anxiety and depression disorders—has more empirical support than any other form of psychological intervention. However, only a small proportion of individuals with common mental disorders receive adequate treatment. The expansion of the transdiagnostic approach for mental disorders, especially in primary care (PC) settings, where most people with common mental disorders are treated, could facilitate greater access to effective psychological treatments. The PsicAP study is an ongoing clinical trial to investigate the efficacy of group transdiagnostic CBT to treat emotional disorders in the PC setting. The results of this trial could serve to promote the use of psychological treatments for the most prevalent mental disorders in PC, as recommended by evidence-based clinical guidelines.Disponibilidad: En existencia
