Autor: Juan Romeu Leder
Número de Revista de Psicoterapia a la que pertenece el artículo: 109
Coordinador del monográfico: Manuel Villegas y Juan García-Haro
Details:
The article is divided into three distinct parts. The first presents the idea that the psychopathological conception of each historical period is not independent from its historical and cultural context. The second part presents, using several case studies, different problems that we frequently find in Primary Care services of mental health for children and youth. In the final section the proposal is put forward to change the general conception of the primary (mental health) care professional. As the general practitioner and pediatrician are to physical health, the primary health professional should be seen as to mental health. This figure is denominated, in the article, as “Therapist Practitioner”, differentiating its functions from those that correspond to what we understand as a Psychotherapist.Disponibilidad: En existencia
